SDVFR V1 takes its final bow

The entire SkyDreamSoft team wishes you an excellent year 2026.

As announced since June 2025, SDVFR V1 is reaching its end of life. The end-of-operation date has been set for February 1st, 2026.

From this date:

  • The application will no longer be available on either Google Play Store or the App Store
  • It will remain usable for users who have already installed it
  • However, it will no longer receive any aeronautical data updates
  • All associated services will be discontinued (synchronization, weather, NOTAMs, etc.)
  • No support will be provided anymore

Migration of tracks to SDVFR Next

Regarding the recovery of tracks from SDVFR V1 to SDVFR Next, the process has already been launched in the background. No action is required on your part.

Tracks from version 1 will start appearing progressively in your SDVFR Next application over the coming weeks.

However, we would like to draw your attention to an important point: in order for your tracks to be recovered, they must have been synchronized from SDVFR V1. We therefore invite you to check and perform this synchronization before February 1st, 2026.

Finally, please note that synchronized tracks are associated with the SkyDreamSoft account used in SDVFR V1. If you do not use the same account in SDVFR V1 and SDVFR Next, you will not have access to your old tracks. No specific data migration between two different user accounts will be performed.

How to get SDVFR Next?

To obtain SDVFR Next, simply purchase the subscription in our store via this link: SDVFR Next for 1 year (maps included)

If you do not yet have a SkyDreamSoft account, please visit this page: Create an account

Do not forget to validate your account via the automatic email sent during its creation (remember to check your “spam/junk” folder).

Once your account is validated and your subscription purchased, go to the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS), depending on your device, to download and install SDVFR Next.

You can then launch the application and log in using the SkyDreamSoft account used when purchasing the subscription.

SDVFR V1?

All good things come to an end: SDVFR V1 will be permanently discontinued during the last quarter of 2025. Until then, it will of course remain functional and up to date.
