SDVFR Next goes live soon!

Dear pilots,

After several years of development and a year of real-world testing, we are pleased to announce that SDVFR Next is ready for its official release, scheduled for mid-June.

What does this mean?

All the features of SDVFR V1 have been rewritten and improved. Many new features have also been added, including the introduction of a Europe-wide map.

Do you have to pay for it?

It's no longer a secret — as announced from the very beginning of development, SDVFR Next will be available through an annual subscription. This subscription will allow you to use SDVFR Next on up to 5 devices and will include:

  • Our SDOACI Europe vector map base
  • European ICAO charts, including IGN ICAO, SIA 250, and Overseas territories
  • Import of personal maps and overlays (image or vector formats)

Why this change?

For the past 11 years, in addition to offering SDVFR, we have supported pilots with responsive technical assistance. Support and closeness to our users have always been at the heart of our project. Moving to a paid version was not an easy decision, but after more than a decade of free service, it now seems essential to ensure the sustainability of the service, improve the app, and maintain a high standard of quality over the long term.

What about SDVFR V1?

All good things come to an end: SDVFR V1 will be permanently discontinued during the final quarter of 2025. Until then, it will of course remain functional and updated.

France Air Expo

We will be exhibiting at France Air Expo in Lyon-Bron (LFLY) on 5th, 6th and 7th June. This is our first participation in a trade show since we started in 2014. Come and meet us, chat, discover the new features and try out SDVFR Next.
